The Children
Children have fun in Dubai. From water parks and circuses to go-kart racing, there are things to do for every age outside of school. Schooling itself is excellent. Dubai has a thoroughly modern network of 85 private schools offering education of a high standard to the curriculum requirements of the UK, USA, Italy, Japan, Iran, India and Pakistan. Similarly, the Government provides quality, heavily subsidized medical care to all visitors and residents, while there are several extremely good private hospitals offering high quality health and dental care. Emergency medical care in Dubai is free for anyone and there are no restrictions.

The Car
If Detroit is The Motor City, then Dubai is The Land of The Luxury Car. There are more beautiful, brand spanking-new cars per person in Dubai than almost anywhere else. Why? Because they are far cheaper to buy or rent than other cities; because the roads are fantastic to drive on; and because international licenses can be used by visitors, or swapped for local licenses by residents (you can also can take a test at one of many good driving schools). Most families have two cars. Driving is on the right hand side of the road.
